BOTOX® Cosmetic
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a substance injected into the muscles, temporarily relaxing those muscles. When the muscle relaxes, the overlying wrinkle flattens. BOTOX® Cosmetic works best on expression lines and deep furrows, particularly in the forehead, lines between the eyes and laugh lines. The effects are not permanent and further treatments are necessary. Results are not immediate. It may take up to two weeks for the effects to take place.
Dermal Fillers
These treatments are usually indicated to correct skin depressions around the mouth, chin and lip area. The treatments are performed in the office. Small amounts of the chosen filler are injected into the layers of the skin to improve the contour. There is some swelling for a short period of time. The results are not permanent and repeat injections will be necessary to maintain the appearance.
Fat Injections
Fat injections are used mainly in the nasolabial and marionette lines to correct these depressions that we all get with aging. A small amount of fat is gently removed from another part of the body and placed in the desired areas with special instruments. There is usually several days of swelling and some slight bruising. The results are not permanent and repeat injections are needed to maintain correction.
Flash Lamp Treatments for Discoloration
Flash Lamp Treatments are used for rosacea, facial spider veins, or other pigmented areas on the face. The Flash Lamp works by creating a pulse of intense light that can reduce or eliminate surface capillaries, port wine marks and brown hyper-pigmented spots. It takes several treatments to achieve the desired results.
Flash Lamp Treatments for Hair Reduction
Flash Lamp Treatments are used for the reduction of unwanted hair on various parts of the body. The pulse of light shocks the hair follicle thereby interrupting its growth cycle. Several treatments are required to get the best results. Come if for a consult to see if you are a good candidate.
Microdermabrasion
This procedure uses fine crystals to remove the outermost layer of dry skin cells thereby gently and precisely exfoliating the surface of the skin. The results are a fresher, younger appearance to the skin. For the best results we recommend multiple treatments over several weekly visits. There is minimal discomfort and redness. One can usually go back to one's normal routine right after the treatment with a more vibrant, healthier appearance to the skin.
Skin Peels - Glycolic Acid, Retin-A, TCA
Skin peels are a popular choice for patients seeking younger and healthier looking skin. Peels may be used to treat sun damage, melasma, hyper-pigmentation, acne, and fine lines and wrinkles. A skin peel loosens dry skin cells that form a barrier on the skin's surface. This exfoliation helps to correct surface discoloration, blemishes, and stimulate cell renewal to bring back the glow and softness of healthy, younger-looking skin.
Sclerotherapy
This treatment uses material that is injected into the spider veins of the lower extremities to allow collapse and elimination of causative blood vessels. Compressive garments and minimal activity are required for a few days after treatment. There is usually a need for several treatments for a complete removal depending on the density of the spider veins. Talk to one of our skin care specialists for more information.
Unlike traditional skin care products that only treat problems on the surface of your skin, the Obagi Skin Health Restoration System works at the cellular level. Under the guidance of trained physicians, the Obagi Skin Health Restoration System helps to correct surface discoloration, blemishes, and stimulate cell renewal to bring back the glow and softness of healthy, younger-looking skin.
